I Yell Too Much

I feel like I haven't been spending any time with the boys. It's like they have a life separate from my own even when we're in the same room.

And I yell too much. I came up with a plan to help both.

They wear safety pins on a string around their necks. 10 weekends, 5 school days. I take one away and explain what they've done wrong when I would normally yell.

For each pin they keep, they earn 5 minutes of one on one time with me the next day. If they lose them all, they spend 5 minutes for each pin helping me do chores the next day.

Either way, I am yelling less and spending more time with each of them. I really need to get on these routines so we can do everything. If I don't play those computer games, I will have time for it all.
