Don't Restate, Thinking He Didn't Understand
September 5, 2008
Dear God,
What can I do for Will?
Listen to him closely and still the echoes in your heart that you do not remember too well. Do not do for him what it is you think you need. Be a pillar of strength and understanding, but do not mope for him.
He will turn to God. He has already started. He just did not know what to do. Your guidance will lead him to his own in his own time. Fear not. God will rescue him. Know it.
Don't be angry at him, it only makes it worse. Don't encourage him to do the old things he used to do - they helped cause it. Be patient and still and he will know what to do as you did, too.
Don't harp, don't nag, don't restate in another way thinking he didn't understand. He did. He just has to do.
His path will clear when he removes the trees and follows his own light - his own way to salvation.
Be patient, not angry. It may get worse and seem hopeless, yet, even now he opens up. He knows you found the way through God and he will too. Peace is within us all. Listen. Carefully.
Cold as snow, ice as rain
Pelting fleetingly upon our brain.
Throw it off as a bright hot day
And God is there to guide the way.Aaah, poetry. Now rest. You are tired. Your brain needs rest, child.
