Angela's Story of Abuse

I woke up one night and asked him if he would kill me, it was random. But looking back the signs were all there.

He collects weapons, he followed me, scared me and my animals.

After I left him he filed a DV restraining order against me. I was in such shock and such trauma I forgot about everything he had done. During [the turmoil] I also forgot - you'd never think you could forget rape - but I did.

I never truly knew what a sociopath was. I knew they killed people but it turns out most never do. What they do is abuse, they are covertly hostile. That was my experience. It was nothing but a moving target, nothing to pin point, sub clinical.....just this sense of grievous loss, crushed dreams, and the wind being knocked out of me.

How Angela Found Out She Was Being Abused

I threw that word around during the last few months I was with "Felon", but I was in such a fog almost a daze I didn't really know what was happening. I didn't know I was being abused but I sort of knew he was abusive?
